This is what was in the package I ordered from that French website:

2x Ceiling front (festoon 42mm – 4 LEDs)
2x Ceiling front reading (T4W – 5 LEDs)
2x Ceiling rear reading (T4W or C5W depending on lamp – 5 LEDs)
1x Glove box (T10 – 4 LEDs)
2x Makeup mirror (festoon 37mm – 3 LEDs)
1x Trunk (T10 – 4 LEDs)

You might need some 470 Ohm 1/4W resistors as well in case an LED keeps glowing after it has been switched off.

Thanks

I look at the French website but wasn't sure if they deliver to the UK, so mite order them separately and hope for the best, would I need resistors for all the bulbs?

Hi All,

New to the forum and following this LED thread.

I'm struggling with the map LED's. Bought some t4W 5 SMD LED type;
as per the type in the picture. Just cant get them to behave.

Once installed - they work when the main lights come on;
but will not work via the map light actuator button on demand.

Weird! Any ideas before i try a different style from another supplier?

Thanks in advance.

Worked it out in the end..... the map lights needed to be canbus;
or at least have a significant resistive load to work correctly.

All good now - installed and looking sweet.

All in though...26 LED modules installed!!!! Wow!!! :happy:

You'll find a list of the interior lights in the 2nd post in this topic.
The footrest lights are T10.

The lights in the doors are T10 and need to be canbus compatible.
You can also take non-canbus LEDs, but than you need to place a (1) resistor (180 Ohm / 5 Watt) parallel in each door.
If the lights in the doors don't work after you've replaced them, go outside the car and lock the doors with the remote. Wait until you see all light on the dash turn off. Unlock the car and check the lights. This procedure is to 'reset' the board computer.

Installed non-canbus LED's in my doors and no issues.
Not sure why previous post suggests they need to be?

Canbus needed for plates, maps and sidelights only.
