OK, impatiently waiting to pick up my new Exeo and thinking about what to change first.

The car has xenons so I'm keen to change out all the lights to LED or similar if possible to match . Am I correct in assuming the standard lights on a2011 plate car will all be standard bulbs? If so is there a list anyway of what to buy.

I'm most keen to change the DRL's, but after reading the various threads I'm none the wiser as to what to order and where from.

You need some 5w5 LED bulbs for the sidelights like these clicky and some 382 LED bulbs for the DRL's like these clicky

HOWEVER!!!! as you have found by reading the other threads you will be very very lucky to get any of these bulbs to work straight out of the packet. This is because the Exeo and A4 can bus system has a very tight tollerance to the resistance of it's bulbs. I use these plug n play resistors for my 5w5 LED sidelights clicky There are others on ebay that are cheaper but these are small enough to fit in behind the cover and they don't get too hot. For DRL's you need to read this thread clicky. Doing it that way keps everthing tucked away inside the headlight bulb covers or you can drill small holes in the bulb holders for the wires to pass through and have resistors mounted in the engine bay. The resistors will get quite hot (about 50 degrees) so don't mount them too close to anything plastic. This thread shows you how to modify the bulb holders and go down the DRL resistor route. clicky
