Hi guys.

I know there's been a lot of talk on this subject but the more I search the more I read the more confused I become!

What I'm looking for is sidelight bulbs which match the colour of the xenon lamps and doesn't give the error light on the dash.

I bought some creed canbus ones but upon fitting the bulbs they turn on for approx 3 seconds with the warning light on then they go out again!!

Any advice appreciated, I don't really want to wire in resistors etc

Loads on fleabay that work, so long as you search canbus. I can't find the ones I've got now but I used to have some from Argo City Ltd that worked fine

Parts u like on eBay work well. Although I'd say the intensity of the ones I brought are a bit brighter than my xenons. But look good.

I bought a set of LED sidelights. How the bloody heck do you get the sidelights out of the headlamp?!

On mine there is a rubber cover at the back to the far side of the main beam which just pulls of ,then the side light is under the daytime running light and just pulls out ,the daytime running light twists out .

Pull off the rubber cover on the back of the headlight and there's then a small tab on the sidelight holder, just push that in and then you can pull it out.

If you don't understand what I've written, get your owners manual out ;)

If you cant see what you're doing get a cheap dentist style mechanic mirror to see the fixings easier.

Those bulbs work fine! Light up and no warning light! Not a great match for xenons but better that the yellow glow of a standard 501! Thanks!!

No problem, I take it you mean their too blue? If so do they look any better at night after your xenons have been on a while?

You're correct pal, after a few mins they look a little closer to the xenon colour! Quite pleased with them, good price too!
