LED Wing Mirror Indicator - how to change?

Hello

Would a kind person explain to me, please, how to replace the sealed unit wing mirror indicator on my 2009 Alhambra. I feel quite stupid not knowing how to change a car light bulb.

you have to distmantle the mirror
glass out then remove screws internally to remove the indicator

Perhaps this is really easy once you know how. I feel it ought to be seeing it is a road safety feature. The snag is, not having done this before, I don't know where to start with dismantling the mirror and can imagine breaking something if I clumsily wade in unprepared. Do I need a "special tool" to do this?

something flat to carefully lever the mirror glass off
and either small philips screwdriver or a t15/20 torq screwdriver

To remove mirror, would a screwdriver or knife do the trick, or something bent into a shape?

Where to insert it - top, bottom or side of mirror glass?

All advice welcome, any diagrams the more so. I will be pleased to contribute afterwards if successful and if mirror does not get broken in process.

Mirror Glass removal Sharan / Alhambra

How to remove mirror glass from Sharan or Alhambra wing mirror so as to get at LED indicator.

Would a sharan wing mirrors with indicators fit easily to a alhambra with double function which is the mirrors electrically folding in?
