Left Door Temperature Flap Positioning Motor

Hi,

My left door temperature flap positioning motor/actuator is defective. Is there a good VAG place to buy such specific things or would it be dealer only?

Seems like it's dealer only but there are two brands.. Johnson and MES and they can't tell by the chassis number so I'll have to take it out first.

I would have thought that they were interchangeable, can't imagine that in production that they would not be able to fit either make.

I would hope so but dealer thinks otherwise.

Got it out, now I have the correct part number and apparently it's the air re circulation flap, OBDeleven says it's the left door flap motor. Hmm, maybe they are both playing up, I know this motor is playing up as I could see it going all over the place and making a clicking sound.
