Leon 1.9 TDI - No Boost & Heavy Black Smoke

Hey lads.

Left work today and barely got 100 yards down the road, The car had no boost and a complete blackout behind. Any one got an idea. Still standard 1.9 Tdi Fr?

Tried to search forum but its down.

Any help appreciated!!

YEA this also happened 2 me garage scan'd it it show'd no boost(no f*$#n **** y u think I'm here?}anyway was traced 2 big plastic pipe from intercooler 2 inlet had come off y didn't I think 2 look at this!!!

I'm going to have a propper look around the bay today, check all pipes etc. Hopefully its just the same Paul. Cheers.

Yep sounds like a boost related pipe is loose or worse case turbo failure.... But you'd probably have seen the symptoms creeping up for the later!

Yea it was the intercooler pipe down by the bumper, metal clip needs replaced. Swapped it over with the other clip off the top so it'll be easier to replace. Ordered new clip off TPS so should be sorted by end of the day. I was praying it wasn't turbo failure drew lol.
