Leon 2020 FR Mk4 Tailgate LED Light

Can anyone help? Car has failed MOT due to reverse light not working - car needs whole new rear LED light that goes across the tailgate. Quotes £580 INC VAT for the part Anyone got ideas how I can get this part at a better price. Thank you

Someone posted about this issue the other day and it was the wiring at fault not the light bar itself. Theres an entire tailgate on eBay, including the rear light bar for 333 quid....I didn't even think about that being one single unit

Did you get this fixed - was it the unit or wiring? I didn't even thing about them being separate units either... I hope mine doesn't fail anytime soon! A costly replacement.
