Leon Boot Net

I know that many people have these, and now I'd like one too! I want it to replace the current storage box I keep in the boot which used to serve a purpose for putting plastic bags into, but now I have a 'curry hook' so that problem has been resolved.

Any ideas where I can get one, ebay/dealer etc? I had a look on the SEAT website but couldn't find one, unless I'm being a numpty.

there is one listed in etka for the altea. i bought a peugeot 307 one off ebay but binned the idea as the mounting hooks are too high in the Leon and so the cargo net sits about 3 inches off the floor

So it doesnt list one for the Leon? Is that both SEAT UK, and SEAT EU?

By the way Seremotors, did someone contact you re:front parking sensors?

nothing on SEAT UK accessories, not sure about SEAT.COM Some Altea models have one as standard which is why ETKA shows it.

Hmm, interesting thought. Not sure who would know though whether or not the boot floors are the same shape, etc.

Sere - any idea as to whether or not an Altea mat would fit in the Leon?

I have emailed the company to ask if it will fit the Leon, but also if it works when there isnt a bulky item in the boot...i mainly want it to put empty bags and papers under.

Someone posted a link to these a while back, I bought 2 and fastened them to the black plastic that supports the parcel shelf. Very good for hoding carrier bags.

Ive already got one of those - a 'Curry Hook' as it was called on this site!

I however, keep empty bags (big designer ones etc) in the boot for when I need to transport stuff etc. I also have an A-Z and a few other bits of paper, hence me wanting a net. I do a lot of travelling, normally with luggage, and so the box I have in the boot now for the stuff, takes up too much space.

I can't confirm it 100% but the last time (a couple of weeks ago) I drove a Golf MKV the boot looked similar in shape to the Leon but that was just eyeballing it rather than measuring it.

Hi Maximus,

There are plenty of cheap cargo nets on Ebay - I got one for my TT for about a fiver and it's fine. There is no way that I would spend nearly £30 for an official accessory on this occasion. I will definitely be getting a cargo net and a bootliner http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=190248739165&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=009 to keep the boot clean and tidy and shopping in place.

I bought a Pug 307 net and it fits perfectly, slightly stretched!

I had a 307cc which had the net. Since that abysmal car the net has been in a Golf MkV, a 350z, my Leon and now my A4...

Boot sizes are all about the same... And its stretchy! Although it was a bit baggy in the Z....
