Leon Cooling / A/C Fan Fault

I know this has been covered a thousand times and I have read all the posts. I am trying to decide whether to buy new fans or try the Nime fix. I have read all the possible problems with the fix and am a little unsure. I understand that the ABS / TC issue has been resolved but I don’t know from reading the posts if the issue with the fans potentially not working with the A/C not turned on.

Does anyone know the part numbers of the fans and if they are available from anywhere apart from Seat directly? I have looked on EuroParts and they seem to only list one fan.

Also can anyone confirm if the TDI has an electronic cooling pump that stays on after the engine is shut down or is it just the Petrol versions.

Hi, dont know if this will be any good, but have you checked the fuse on top of the battery? my fans stoped working and I was just about to change the fans etc... but it turned out it was a £1 fuse that had gone!

Yes I have checked the fuses and two of the metal blades had gone this then led to the discovery of the problem. Before I replaced the fuses the fans did not work at all and now they only work on the fast pulse.
