Hi, as above, could anyone let me know the recommended tyre pressures please? All the handbooks say to refer to the fuel filler flap, which I'm sure would be useful if it was written in there...thanks!

Of the top of my head 39psi up front and 35 at the rear. Could be wrong just off top of my head

Thanks, if anyone can double check that would be appreciated!

I found the same numbers in another thread, so I've put them at that for now. The main dealer had them at give or take 32 all round!

Cheers

One thing I take the time to do is experiment. The main reason for this is that I have found that different tyres are better with slight variations on the manufacturers 'recommended' pressures. E.g. the Continentals were good for 2.7 bar, however, the Michelin PS4s seem to be better, more stable high speed and grippier at 2.6 front and 2.3 rear.

I am assuming that my pressure gauge is accurate.....

Hi

I run my cupra 280 sub 8 at 34 all round

39 in the front seems way to high to me

as many others have said , wheel hop is a big issue on the bridgestone tyres

34 all round does not stop the wheel hop but does help

very shortly will be going for Michelins on front

39 might seem high, I thought so too, when I first had the car - but it's pretty close.

34 would seem quite indistinct and vague to me in terms of handling. I'm gonna have to try it to see if I'm right

2.7 bar front and rear on 19" and bridgestones.
2.6 bar front and rear on contis and 18". I want my rear to be neutral towards tailhappy, that's why I run same pressures front and rear.
