Howdy! I'm new to this site and this is my first post, so hoping some people can share some advice and give some direction :)

I've recently picked up my new Leon Cupra 290 Black Edition in Alor Blue, and the thing I love most about it is the fact it doesnt look as 'chavy' as the Civic Type R or the Focus RS (lets put a spoiler and vent on every body panel!). It's also my first car with some decent power (my most powerful previous car was a 160BHP 2.0 Insignia Diesel...)

The only issue I have with it is that it looks a little too tame, specifically at the front. Everytime I see the air intakes where a non Cupra would have fog lights, I just assume other people will think 'oh he's cheaped out and not bought fog lights'. I think that Seat could've done something to make them look more like intakes rather than Fog light blanking covers. The front grille could do with some sprucing up too. From a distance it looks just like an FR to unknowing people not distinguising the FR and Cupra badges.

I'd like to make subtle changes that address these two main items and anything else I could do to make it more menacing, but not really sure where to look or where to go. The colour and wheels turn heads as it is, but I want to make it look more menacing. I'm hoping someone has the same opinion and knows what I could do? I've never modified cars before either, so a complete newbie!

I've seen someone spray both exhaust tailpipes in black exhaust paint, which give it a nice look from the back too, I'm thinking about doing that, but again, open to any suggestions you guys have.

Cheers!

Thanks! I'll certainly be ordering both of those.

I'd like to do something about the grills. Not quite sure what I can do with them though. I think the honeycombe gaps are a bit too big! If only they were smaller.

Do you have any recommendations to remaps or induction kits?
