...so virtually everything he has apart from the wheels?!
........ must be doing something right achieving 329bhp with the standard pump.

My Cupra pulled 330bhp on the R/R aswell at stage 2+ remap from APR, your Cupra is also the same year as mine and engine code.
Although I'm not running an uprated intercooler, although I did have a fault on the intake manifold runner flap which I changed and the car felt a lot better after. I would check all of your hoses etc, make sure you have no leaks where air may escape as you'll notice a drop if you're losing compression somewhere.

Ordered uprated fuel pump internals today, going to fit them tomorrow after they arrive and go from there.
Let us know how you get on, I had similar issues when I had my A3 tfsi, but I couldn't afford the internals for hpfp so had to to draw the line there (then sold car), my mate owns fr&r tuning and we just did trial and error with his custom maps and dyno
Built another pump with new uprated internals today and fitted to car. Now in the hands of my mapping guy again.
Heres some pictures of the old uprated internals that failed, bought them already installed in a HPFP so not sure where they came from, also there are no markings on them at all!!! Note how dis-formed the end of the piston is and how much of a hammering its taken.

No there not autotech, I didnt know what they were when it was insatlled as I bought a complete uprated pump, KMD seem to use the original cap design rather than collet design.
good pictures for reference guys, looks like KMD have changed design as there website shows a different design.
Dyno lottery aside, when i had both my MK2 Leon Cupra's, most modifications were tried and tested at some point, and measured on the same r/r (obviously on different days).
Standard car was 257bhp (2007 on BWJ engine) and 261 (2010 on CDL engine)
A full milltek and a carbonio intake on standard software gave less than 15bhp gain over stock.
Stage 1 on these parts, along with a DBilas intake, gave 321bhp. Stage 2 code plus an uprated pump gave over 350bhp when coupled with an S3 alloy end intercooler on moderate settings.
Long story short, i agree with the comments above - you need to make sure you know specified boost is being matched by actual and a whole bunch of other things which could detract from the power the car is capable of with the software installed.
Boost leaks, diverter valve not doing what it should be, shortage of fuel meeting specified amounts on stage 2+ (+ being the file originally designed for cars with uprated fuel pumps with supporting mods) etc etc etc.
Once that is done, and you know the car has a clean bill of health, i would be definitely considering a change of map to something tried and proven by many others by one of the more common tuners.

PS - the Forge Twintercooler will slow you down vs a larger OEM core replacement like the S3 (alloy end) intercooler or something else from APR/Revo/Pro Alloy etc.

Hi, The car has a full bill of health and all systems have been checked over and runs 100%, there are no boost leaks, no vacuum leaks and the diverter valve is new and a rev g this was all checked over before it went along with all new ignition coils and plugs. MAF and other sensors were cleaned along with air filters and throttle body not that it was dirty. All of the hardware is fine and it has the uprated HPFP required now for stage 2+. the tuner has checked that the car is giving correct boost and compared the reads to actual readings. The car has all if not more hardware required for stage 2+.
Basically the car is working well and run perfectly and now has the new hpfp uprated, so its now down to software so we will see what they come back with, they are very good and had mapped cars for me and friends before and are very proffesional.
Im aware there are lots of opinions on the forge parts but its performing very well for stage 2 so i dont think there too bad, im aware theres better but at the end of the day this is a road car not a track car.
