Hi,

Had the news today that my turbo is shot due to the last owner must have lost a bolt or something down the intake and the turbo blades are now chewed to bits also the oil deals have gone so time for an upgrade.

Car is currently stage 2, have a forged rod kit coming any day now so would like to fit an upgraded turbo/ manifold setup at the same time.

Now what's my options the ones that have been mentioned to me so far are:

The k04 twinscroll from a later Leon/s3- how would I go about that one and what's the cost....
Get a k04 hybrid and relentless v4 manifold- anyone that's done this what's the pros and cons
Go gt28/30 but not sure on what manifold etc.. To use so any info would be much appreciated

Any advice or help would be great would like to get between the 350-400bhp range similar torque with the forged rods hopefully.

Cheers jamie .

From just looking at another thread regarding a hybrid replacement look up the thread on here "Replacement BAM Engine???" as I cant post a direct link
On that thread Badger 5 says a hybrid you will be looking more at 330-350bhp

So if your looking for 350-400 you will prob need be looking at the garrets.

A good idea will be to post a message in the badger 5 section asking him what you would require to achieve this sort of power as he is pretty much the go to guy for these cars IMO he also sells all required items to do this sort of stuff.
