Hi, just had my stage 2 lcr on the rolling road at awesome Gti and I found the results lower than expected. It produced about 238bhp and 280lbft of torque. Car has stage 2 apr with supporting mods. The technician said that they normally boost higher than mine is when on a stage 2 map. It boosts at about 19/20psi. Do these figures sound normal? I know rolling roads have on and off days but I'm just wondering. I will post graph up Abit later. Thanks

When I did my stage 1 on my 210 I only got 223bhp on the rollers but around 260 torque. They sent one of there stock 225 TT to APR to have the map looked at, they did a re flash and was definitely quicker, my liquid gauge I got told me I was putting out 240, still lower than expected but better than 223.

Thanks for your reply Ill mention that to them. Reading an apr brochure while there and the stage 2 figures are 278bhp and 282lbft of torque. Surely if there were any problems then the torque wouldn't be there would it?

if your running stage 2 APR LCR and only getting 238bhp id ask for your money back, theres stage 2 LC running higher than that, something isnt right there

Im guessing but if the maf cant read over a certain gs it would restrict bhp but if the torque came in lower in the rev range it may not be affected. :)

I definitely wouldn't but happy with them results, they didn't charge me at first cos the figures were so crap but the guys at awesome are really good, they had it for 2 days trying to find fault and the car was fine so knew it must be the map. Sure if you discuss it with them they will sort you out. We're you stage 1 at any point?

its easy to create intial peak torque mate , whack the boost up but whether it's holding it after the spike is the question from your results i will confidently say it ain't holding boost , this could be various of reason , boost , leak , dead/dying maf, n75. basically the car needs to logged to pin point the problem stage 1 cars should running 245-255bhp with 250-260 ft/lbs so you have and issue clearly thats the reason i don't do generic maps less time is spent to see if each component is actually working as it should

The graph dodnt show any afr readings. They haven't done any logs on it. Said I'd need to book it in again because they were busy. I had the remap a few months back but have only just got the rolling road done so îts my own fault. I dunno if I should book it back in at awesome or just do a few checks myself like the n75 and boost leaks. Is there anyone near me who could log it? Also how do I put a pic of graph up on here using an iPhone? Thanks

Hi, Just received my vagcom software and can now do logs on it. Am i right in thinking that i want to check block 031 and multiply the reading by 14.7 to check if its running lean? What sort of reading do i want to see? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Yeah this is what I'm thinking. Maybe a boost leak, I'm gonna follow the guide on here to making a boost leak tester. I've done a log on block 031 and the lowest reading I got was .922 which calculates to 13.5. Not sure I did it right though

Done some logs just now on maf and afr. What do the results look like? Ive found a boost leak and am awaiting some new clamps to fix it.
