Dont get me wrong its such an improvement over the stock figures - I had a Mk5 GTI Stage1 then Stage2 then Stage2+ which has the same engine and it drive really nice. Still smooth just more potent.
I went on a website the other day that said the 2.0 Tfsi had 210bhp as standard and that a stage 1 would get you 270bhp, i cant remember what one it was though?? wether you get that or not is another matter but i guess it gets people attention
Your dealer will not know is mapped without taking it for a spin and even then they can't prove it, they do not have the technology to download the map and examine it. Besides why would your dealer care? They get paid to carry out warranty work.
i was planning on getting mine done this month, but with the tax due end of the month too at £245 for the bloody year! the map had to miss.
will a forge spacer effect the output ? ive heard it sways both ways.
ive got a 2.0LT tfsi sport and they say i can get 260 out of a stage 1 map (jump from 185) or i was thinking about chipping it in for an old shape cupra r. dunno what to do, all advice appreiciated for this tuning newbie!
