Leon FR suspension query

One of my front springs has broken, so need to replace the front pair. Not bothered about lowering etc but There’s a couple of different options depending on if the car has sports suspension or not.
It’s a 2.0 TDI FR CR 170 59 plate. Am I right to assume that it’s got “sports suspension”?

Best thing to do is match up the paint markings on your springs to the parts drawing and find the OE part number for your springs.

I’ve got yellow violet and green paint markings which if I’m reading it right means that it is not sports suspension-I thought it would have been...

Just checked my 2010 CR 170 and I have the same paint markings on the springs as you.

That gives a part number of 1K0411105GT for the production code L48 which I do have in my production codes so it certainly looks like the right one.

I have noticed with VAG cars that the front suspension isn't always described as sports when it actually is.

Yep, parts guy looked up using your diagram/part number and it is a sports suspension spring. I’ve ordered some suplex springs - hopefully arrive on Tuesday.
