Most I've ever got from a full tank (about 55l) is 240 miles.

Which I think is just under 20mpg :(

The £400 car tax isn't too nice either, or the huge depreciation caused by tax and fuel price hikes

It's great fun though, and revving to 9500rpm just can't be beaten. :D

My only real gripe with the leon is the rattles/ creaks 7 squeaks, they drive me insane !!!!!
Having the Ibiza made me realise how good the build quality of the Vauxhall actually was... I now have to put up with rattles and squeaks which are really annoying [:@]

Wouldn't mind driving a Cupra to see how the driving experience compares with the VXR.

I had an RX8 for 2 years. Absolutely loved the car. 220 to a tank was my average - many smiles to the miles but ouch on the finances.

What drove me away was Gordons nice taxes and the sheer costs of fuel. Work started making me drive more - hence I'm here and very happy with a nice new FR TDI :)

ok then sorry they are pretty much on par if you take into consideration bhp torque 0-60 and max speed but you get loads more for your money look at all the things that come as standard on the cupra most are extras on the vxr plus its a smaller car.

vxr is only available in 3 door not as quick as the cupra and imo bigger is better.

Thats why I traded mine in for a vec vxr, for the doors , 300bhp & 400lb/ft ... And it was cheaper than a cupra !! (Until you look at running costs), and it was bigger than a cupra too = better ??

extras ?? You get 1/2 leather in the vxr for a start, you could find a hundred things eachj have & don`t , depends what you are looking for ... (And it had a centre exit zorst before your K1 *lol*)

*lol* I would take the ugly comment on board, but you avator says you are getting a K1 , so I`ll reserve judgement on your opinion ;)

however i do like all the cars in the vxr range and even considered an astra vxr before i saw the light and went back to seat! k1 kit looks the nuts not seen many vxr's on the road think it might have something to do with the success of the seats in the motorsport industry but thats another argument.

Theres a reason why motor bikes get called donor bikes.

Alot of fun but track only for me.

Stock VS Stock VXR and cupra there is nothing in it. Both look gd imo. Cupra slightly more practical and alot rarer. Cupra remaps well, no idea about the VXR.

SEAT is kicking vauxhalls ass in BTCC though :D

Stick a remus exhaust and remap on the vxr your looking around 285bhp where the cupra maps to over 300bhp. plus that remus exhaust sounds unreal best exhaust ive heard!

Yes the VXR's do sound nice once fettled with. Dont think milltek systems make the Cupra sound all too gd though.

I think if you heard a Milltek equipped Cupra TFSi in real life, you might be better able to comment ;)

Don't get me wrong, I think the best thing about the VXR is the noise with the Remus on. However it is a bit tiresome inside the car after a while as it is so loud.
