for fast i use my bikes.
but when you jump from a sports bike to a car, its abit dull.

if i sold the leon, id be lucky to get 8k(even dreaming) + the 4k it would cost to ko4 it, thats 12k. i wont find an LCR for 12k, i doubt id find one id be happy with or much less than new price, so its worth putting that money into the FR in my opinion. my FR is solid, low mileage (4k a year) and never skipped a beat. I wouldnt feel bad throwing money into it.

my current plans are first ;
Walk
Coilovers
Engine mounts
SMF + clutch upgrade
RARB

then it would be to up power.

Who said LCR? All things considered ($$$ etc...), I'd take a Cupra over a Cupra R every day of the week.

If you're going to do that lot, I'd still say a Cupra would be a wiser buy. A very nice 2008 Cupra can be had for £8k-£9k. If you could stretch to £12k there is Al's Cupra running Stage 2+ already. It's a bargain IMO.

The money you'd throw in to a K04 upgrade would be offset with the Cupra purchase, and you'd have a better car. Just my opinion mate :)

425bhp isn't possible on that turbo though mate, that's why people are having a chuckle.

400bhp is pretty much tops for a K04, and then you'd been having to run Meth and/or race fuel to reach that (or a very generous Dyno - but that's another topic all together  ). Also you really wouldn't want to run at 400bhp or anything like 400lbs of torque on a standard K03 based engine.

To get 400+ you'd need turbo upgrades and everything associated with that - injectors, manifolds etc...If trying to that on a K03 based engine you'd need uprated internals too, other you'd be bending rods all over the shop.

To go to the 500s u need to upgrade ur engine internals and upgrade everything else really here's a list ithink its a garret turbo is that correct Ultimate Performance

Stage 4 2.0TFSI Performance Software has been developed to suit a proven hardware upgrade package, Tuning is adjustable and can be tailored to suit your needs. Stage4 software is designed to be run with all of the bolt on hardware listed below and is compatible with a completely standard engine. For this software to run efficiently and reliably, a strict hardware build list must be adhered to. Furthermore, our SPS is highly recommended to guarantee optimal performance gains.

Hardware Requirements:

3071R External Wastegate Turbo Kit with associated hardware for fitting and installation
RS4/R8 injectors
3.0"Turbo back exhaust without pre-cat and with decat or highflow catalytic convertor
Cold Air Intake with correctly scaled MAF housing - Click for details (inlet hose might require modification depending on turbo kit)
uprated or additional intercooler (S3 uses larger stock IC but additional IC is recommended) - Click here for details
highflow mechanical fuel pump - Click here for details
Hardware Recommendations:

Uprated Engine Mounts - Click following for details: engine, transmission, dogbone
PCV Revamp kit - Click here for details
Uprated Brakes - Click here for details
NGK Iridium Spark Plugs
Uprated Clutch
Stage 5 2.0TFSI Performance Software is designed for those customers that want the ultimate from their 2.0TFSI. Whilst Stage4 software is designed to be run with all of the bolt on hardware Stage 5 is designed to maximise the potential and adjustability to make the most of cars running fully built engines with uprated valve-train. Stage 5 software could be classed as a full ‘Race’ map, with an 8000rpm rev limit, a very wide range of timing adjustment allowing you to account for race fuel and water meth if you choose to. It is also fully compatible with external boost controllers for those that really want to push things to the next level.

Hardware Requirements:

3071R External Wastegate Turbo Kit with associated hardware for fitting and installation
RS4/R8 injectors
3.0"Turbo back exhaust without pre-cat and with decat or highflow catalytic convertor
Cold Air Intake with correctly scaled MAF housing - Click for details (inlet hose might require modification depending on turbo kit)
uprated or additional intercooler (S3 uses larger stock IC but additional IC is recommended) - Click here for details
highflow mechanical fuel pump - Click here for details
uprated intank fuel pump
uprated engine internals (rods, pistons, valve-train. Revo recommend keeping stock compression)
Uprated Engine Mounts - Click following for details: engine, transmission, dogbone
PCV Revamp kit - Click here for details
Uprated Brakes - Click here for details
NGK Iridium Spark Plugs
Uprated Clutch
Hardware Recommendations:

Boost gauge - if you want to run an MBC and over 1.6/1.7bar peak
Wideband AFR gauge - for setup purposes
