Interesting, electric and petrol / diesel I assume... I guess it's a powertrain mule more that a car for the showroom at present.. Maybe ready for the next gen Seat Leon

Ya, it says 2014 so your probably right. VW had something similar with a 2.0tdi 120ps.

Sometime last year the was a golf hybrid concept car. 1.6 cr tdi + elecric motor. It was more powerful than the prius (suprise!) but did 116mpg. This is probably just that.

Could you have the electric motors driving the rear wheels and the petrol the front as normal, 4 wheel drive without the heavy drive shaft n' stuff?
