Leon hybrid electric max range

I have just bought a 10 month old ex Leon Hybrid Demo. So far the range in electric only has been showing as no better than 32 after a full overnight charge. This has only been a week so far granted

Is this to be expected?

I'm a little worried the dealer hadn't treated this vehicle very carefully, and the battery doesn't appear to have been charged very often. Can this have affected the overall battery health abd hence range?

Any advice appreciated

I think this should be in the mk4 section :)
That's similar to the new shape cupra ehybrid range. How many miles were you expecting? It's not like other electric/hybrids where the range is massive. I wouldn't worry that it's been mistreated due to the range. The range is normal for the cupra version so is probably normal for your version. :)
I drive on the combined cycle so it doesn't run down so quickly.

Do you have the option to set the regenerative braking etc so that it charges when braking and things like that? I think it was low, high, auto but I don't think that needs setting every time I get in so I've forgotten the options for that. I'm still learning it as I've only had it a week.
I haven't seen the options on the seat leon but I'd expect they hybrid options to be the same where you choose hybrid driving rather than electric only if you are going a distance.
I didn't see the point before I bought it if it only did 30 odd miles electric but combined/hybrid driving it's great. I think they just need getting used to. I never thought that I would have one.

As I understand it the range is based on previous electric only mileage, So if its been floored with late braking the range will be down, so if you drive like you should own it rather than stole it it should go back up.

Probably more realistic anyway. On my Golf GTE the "30 mile" range was very optimistic.
