Leon Mk2 Cupra dash warning light for bulb out

Hi there
On my Mk2 Leon Cupra, its has xenons btw, i have a dash warning light up for bulb out. Will removing the fog lights bring this up? Im sure it will. If so, does anyone know of any resistors i can put in the plug to stop the warning light on the dash coming up. Or shall i just cut the plug off and join the two wires together? Reason being, my fogs were both cracked and i just removed them as they looked tacky.

I've no idea what size resistor you need but I wouldn't recommend joining the wires together...
