Thank you a lot. I'll be ordering VW's from Passat 5M(from the Dephead's thread) tomorrow, but if there are washers from Seat, I'll probably be ordering those.

Just out of curiosity, how can you order this when buying a new car? I can't seem to find this option anywhere? Is it even an option?

No Worries, if I haven't posted by tonight just send me a reminder :p I have no idea, I didn't spec them when ordering the car, they just came with it :)

Reminder:D.

Sorry guys, Got home last night and it was pouring down with rain so didn't get a chance then completely forgot this morning... my bad!

But since I work for an automotive firm we get a few benchmark cars ect one of them being the Mk3 leon but a very bottom spec one, but it doesn't have fan washers! There not heated but Il upload the pics I have for them in case anybody needs them. So if anybody needs any other pics ect just let me know and il get them and upload them, but just remember it is a very basic spec so don't ask for top spec options!!

Pics to follow :)

Just been and had a look and when popping the washer out it has the VW logo on it? not sure if this is because its a shared part, but the number I think says 5MO955985C. It could of been SM0955985C. Was hard to see due to it being in a dark car park, but I hope this helps people. And no my car doesn't have the winter pack :( Heated seats would be nice haha

Ok, than it makes sense. You've got the ones from Passat(5M0), the ones from @Dephead2004's topic. How they got there, I don't know:D.

Not an option! Except a few are reporting they have them from the factory. Shared VAG parts bin I suspect

I suspect you're both right, its just a 50/50 chance as to which they pick up out of the parts bin :p but yeah just did a quick ebay search and you can get a pair of them for £13.50 inc P&P :) So not too much of a expensive add on.

Or maybe a generous dealer:D. Well, I'm ordering mine today. Just another quick question about them. Is there a right and a left version of them or are they the same?

Seat has 985 number for the left and 986 for the right.

There is a left hand and right hand version according to part numbers, but honestly I don't think it makes any difference when on the car from looking at them, but id check with @dephead2004 since he has fitted them :)

Went out in the car tonight and found a nice 1/4 mile straight piece of road, only downside it its one way and slightly uphill :( the downhill part has a bend in it so I cant even cheat by doing a run downhill lol

But me and a friend went out in my car, and tried recording some 0-60 times. The car has a full tank of fuel and was on a damp road at night so not too much traction, but over a few runs I managed to average a time of 7.6 seconds.

Im really happy with this result as the stock time is rated at 10.2! so taking 2.6 seconds off is amazing! The box really does work! can only imagine It would be slightly faster on flat ground in the dry where I can use gear 1 & 2 properly without shifting early to avoid wheelspin :p I have the DTUK pedal box too, just need to plug that in then will go for another run :)
