On the Golf mine had a problem where the centre shaft the washer fluid flows through on the motor corroded and sort of welded itself to the outside of the motor shaft that spins and hence snapped. This can be repaired by drilling out the 3 or 3.2mm copper tube and inserting a new section. Or like mentioned above the hose can pop off is the headlining or does fluid drip out by the boot catch?

unless the pump has failed? check the boot catch in the lid to see if theres water there as mine had broken but i didnt have water in the boot as it was leaking through the catch and down inside the plastic trim so you couldnt really see it.

the pipe runs along the rear near side wing, just fold the rear seats down and there's some plastic trim above the wheel arch, unscrew it and the carpet trim on the wheel arch in the boot comes away easily.

There is a joint in there which can come undone, but would probably notice a wet patch in the boot after trying to use the washer if this is loose.

I noticed last night ive got the leak on the passenger side in the boot above the wheel arch and no pressure on the back wiper. Is it worth me just having a bash at fixing this myself or go and get it fixed under waranty as when ive had a search about people have had to have full wipers/motors replaced aswel. Cant really be chewed taking it down to be fixed though if I can avoid it. Also one of the holes on the drivers side front washer seems to have no pressure is this likely to be a blockage or is there another common problem on the front?

The rear one is easy, fold down rear seats. Unscrew the plastic trim (various screws behind the seats and in the boot)

You may have to pop the boot light out too, but cant remember if I did or not. Once the plastic trim is off the washer pipes are right there and you will see one of the T-Connectors has either half unclipped or fully unclipped. Just push it back on and it will click.

Remeber to get the plastic seat belt guide in the right place before clicking the plastic trim back in place. (really easy)
