Hi cant make up my mind on getting a 2006 reference TDI or the sport version. I know reference is the basic model, but which is better value? And is the TDI an upgrade from TSI?

Have a budget of around £3,200 max used 2006 year car.

Planning on keeping it for a long while.

when you say "sport version" what exactly is it?
i know theres the 2.0 Tdi Reference Sport and the 2.0 Tdi Fr. i have a 2006 Reference Sport 140hp and the engine i must say is very impressive. hardly had any issues. TSI on the other hand is a petrol car... so completely different to your Tdi.
