So collected my Cupra yesterday after having the work carried out and even just starting her up after the service she sounded smoother and better. The clutch is heavier which I expected and could be difficult if it's an everyday driver but mine gets used for sport nights ha! The Sachs kit and performance fly is quality you can feel its built to last I would describe it as a Positive feel but i cant give it Any beans for another 500 mile so looking forward to seeing how it really deals with power. After seeing the pictures of cam follower I'm glad that got changed as it looked very warn so well worth doing along with cambelt and pump which are alot quieter now the new ones fitted.
Pictures will follow and maybe some video when it's bedded in......

Did you get vw to take pics for you..? Or did they let you watch and take pics, as ive allways just been sat in recpetion while works been carried on my K1 their Lol

No I dropped it off and left it a week and asked if they'd take photos for me as I was interested in seeing the progress and wanted to put them online.....
I've only been there once before I had an ecu error and 3 other so called specialists couldn't solve it Jody sorted it within 15min : o

I saw this parked outside midland VW last week when I took mine in, lovely example! jealous much! wish I had gone for the cupra :( still the FR has 250 odd lbs/ft and I get 50+ mpg :) will have to do until the warranty has ended. glad to hear your enjoying the motor mate

Thank you.....it's not my everyday car so I can play about with it lots : ) I have a fiesta zetec s tdci for everyday use 50mpg and 20 tax ftw : )......

That was nice of them, i got my major service,cam belt and water pump done their not long ago. Their really clued up on these cars though!
