Leon Sport Suspension

Ill be keeping an eye on, im interested in any upgrades. It makes it easier for me because its related to the SPORT!

What are people looking at to do?

Lower just springs
Koni fsd and springs
Just koni fsd stock springs (ok for non FR?)

Gonna make some calls tomorrow to get some more information (plus a Haynes book)!

I'll keep updated as think we have same motors jay, except for engine.

So I am erring on the side of just changing the springs (Eibach or other as I'm not fussed on lowering) with the stock shocks; obviously much cheaper than the Koni FSD etc. I see there are a lot of opinions out there but believe this would have the biggest impact on ride quality.

Apart from VAG R&D, can anyone tell me the various spring characteristics of the various Leon Mk2 Models / years to inform my choice?

we had a 08 plate reference sport 1.4 , the suspension was rock hard, shake the fillings out of your teeth style. current 10 plate FR is totally different , still firm but not "crashy" if you know what I mean? even on 18's

You could always upgrade shocks later!

Yeah the car is basically new so to spend more now seems nuts on the Koni.

What colour code are your springs guys?

Mine are yellow,red,green on the front.
