leon tdi 90 ???

hi all
going to have a look at a tdi 90 leon tomorro is there anything i should look at inpaticual on the car or has anyone had any problems with one
any help would be apreciated

Just the usual, service history, what parts have been replaced to get some idea about past issues. Take the car for a good run and ensure it doesnt go into limp mode, smoke etc.

The old 90 lump is a hardy number so unless its been treated badly it should be all good.

it has full seat service history so should be ok
just need to take it for a test drive now

ecu?

Hi, I'm looking at getting a leon tdi 90 aswell and some specific 'bad' ecu numbers were mentioned on a couple of websites quoting £600 for replacements (honest john car reviews web site searching on leons and toledos) or was this just for the 110. If anybody knows for certain i'd love to know. Other than that as far as i can see, leaks it the footwell via the front door/window seals and or pollen filter plastics (under the plastics on the passenger side of the bulk head, if its in the same place as on my skoda octy). Id love to know how you get on. I've never had a seat before, done the vw and skoda thing but used prices on Golfs still seem high.

well had a look at it bit disaponted
the leon was mechanical sound, full service history with every receipt and was a ex seat demo car
BUT
the car had so many scraths on it think the prevoius owner must have had to drive through a forest to get home and they must have used a screwdriver to open the drivers lock cus it was broken and the seller said he wouldnt replace it
so all in alll going to keep on looking
