The s has broken on my boot from the sx part, Is it worth trying to replace it, lose the sx entirely to declutter the back or go for the Leon lettering accross the back?

What would people here do?

I removed all the badges on the back so I've just got the Seat 'S' logo. Looks nice and clean. Just either use a hairdryer on the letters or wait for a hot sunny day! I used dental floss to just saw it off, then cleaned the residue off with a bit of WD40, then gave the whole boot a good polish and wax. Looks much nicer in my opinion, but everyone has different tastes!

Yeah, thought about having no badges too, must be loads easier to clean. At the moment I just sort of skirt round them so i don't break any more

Looks like most people prefer the badgeless look and just leave the 'S' boot opener on.
I have also removed the lettering, i got the hairdrier on it to heat the glue and then got some fishing line out and effectively sawed through the glue.

I was left with (and still have) some glue reside, its really not noticable unless you examine it from an inch away but i know its there and want to get rid of it.
I read the 2nd post and saw WD40 was used, is this effective then?
Sorry to hijack slightly.

I actually used some stuff called "sticky stuff remover" from halfords, but I now realise it is basically WD40 with a bit of nice smelly stuff in it!! WD40 will do it nicely.

Looks like a little job for tomorrow then, removing all the letters from my boot!

Can't wait?!?
