Hi guys, jumped ship from a Volkswagen Lupo Gti a few months ago to my Leon 1.9Tdi Stylance. Not seen many of these on here being modified so hopefully I have one of the nicer low and slows!
Modifications so far:
-Heko Wind Deflectors - Im very happy with mine, there has been alot of speculation on here about whether or not they are healthy for your car. But after faffing around repositioning the retaining clips for the deflectors and positioning them towards each end of the window frame, the window is barely touching the deflectors when it's fully closed. Therefore i would recommend this product provided you fit them properly!
-Richbrook Car Mats (recommended in Performance VW magazine and they are great!)
-BBS Supercopa Edition Wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres
Sealed up with Autobrite Very Berry wheel sealant. AMAZING product. A little bit goes a long way, i spent the best part of two hours, cleaning the wheels for prep, then wiping them down with a clean cloth, and then applying the sealant with a pad wheel by wheel and allowing to dry for at least 30 mins per wheel. Then jumping back in and polishing off with a fibrous cloth until the metal feels super slippery to the touch. Then try pouring water on them!
How It looks now..
Ongoing Plans :
Currently in the process of getting a quote off Pete McGinley from PSI Tuning Stoke on Trent for a good set of coilovers and a Remap, Hopefully to take me over 130bhp.
I'd have had a quicker leon if money would have allowed. But with IBIZA this summer (jackpot) and me enjoying travelling to anywhere to listen to good house music, i just couldn't afford.
Also debating whether to install my Pioneer AVH-X3500DAB Double din beast. Apparently its harder than id like it to be, if anyone has any advice on installing a double din it would be much appreciated
Thanks for reading guys, Liam. More updates when i've bought my coilovers. (any idea which ones are best?)
