License plate removal

The kn**s at Tyneside Autoparc (a**holes) have stuck their crap branded license plate to the bumper with glue instead of screws.

As I want to wrap that area...any tips on how to remove it without ripping off te paint?

Glue? Are you sure its not double sided tape.
If so use a hairdryer to heat the area and then use dental floss around the back of the plate to "cut" through the tape. Once you have the plate off simply peel the tape off and then you can wrap it.

Any clue how I would go about putting it back on? Is there specific double-sided tape I need?

Halfords sell some, but would have thought any strong tape would do

Any double sided will do mate. Dont use a lot of it though or you will not be able to get it off in future without difficulty. 3 small strips will be plenty.. One at the ends and one in the middle like [|....|....|]
