Light upgrade/LED

Hey guys,

anyone know where I can get decent LED upgrades for my Leon FR?
Its 2013 but only comes with the rear led lights not the front, so at the moment they’re a poor yellow light.

move tried osrams & a few other “led” bulbs but they’re either too yellow or very poor light output.

I was thinking maybe HID? But if someone could point me in the right direction I’d really appreciate it.

If you mean the headlights then there are kits to DIY install decent HID projector lights inside existing headlight housings, but they aren't cheap and the process isn't easy. You then have to pass an MOT test and inform your insurance that you've modified the car. You'll also need to fit a headlamp washer kit and self leveling system to prevent glare.

Those cheap kits which just replace the halogen lamps with HID and botch the electrics in are worse than useless, blind other drivers and will get you stopped by the police - if it didn't fail the MOT first.

LED retrofit isn't a thing, it's cheaper and easier to upgrade the whole car.
