Lights, Fuses... Confused!?

Having a bit of a problem with my car and struggling to find what it is, currently out with out my manuals or 3G on my phone so finding it hard navigate the forums!

The problem; Both head lights (main and dipped), fog lights and indicators not working while the car is started... Hazards not working properly... Yet... When I lock the car the indicators work fine, and when flashing the lights and leaving the car the head lights and side lights work (going home lights is it?)....

Stressing as I'm on nights tonight.... And need my lights!

Personally I'd check the fuses first off, easiest thing to check

Check the fuse box under the bonnet,there is a 30 amp fuse at the back of the fuse box as you look at it in the centre,make sure it has not blown or melted.

Got back in the car to drive home... lights gone out and they have all started to work again :-S
