Hi guys just wanted some help regarding my cupra,

Basically when I start the car in the morning I'm in limp mode if I turn the car off and on I have full boost back again now the other problem is when I do have boost my car gets to around 3k revs and hesitates as it comes on boost for a split second then pulls no problem. I've had the car scanned and on vagcom checked all hoses/pipes and changed the n75 and maf and I have cleaned and recalibrated the throttle body. The 2 fault codes that reappear are bank 1 lambda (which I'm guessing is due to it being decatted) and pressure drop between turbo and throttle body.

I can't for the life of me figure the problem my car is a AMK Cupra R with a stage one remap on it.

All help is much appreciated thank you.

My half broken TB threw that code, but my idle was crap then.
I bought used TB, did TB adaptation and it was ok.
Why dont you try someone elses TB, it is 10 min job to swap it.
And, maybe u really do have a hole between turbo and DV, try compression test it.

Hi mate,
What lambda sensor is it that is playing up? They are both bank 1 (B1), but one is S1 (before the cat) and the other is S2 (after the cat).

If the code is for B1 S2, then that's due to being de-catted and is nothing to worry about.

If its B1 S1, then thats the sensor that controls the mixture and will cause all sorts of running issues.

The second code for pressure drop between turbo and TB is often thrown on some mapped 1.8t's without an obvious cause. Check all boost pipes and check the DV, but i used to have the code occasionally on a previous leon and never got to the bottom of it.

Had the dv off and apart checked mostly everything over with a guy who has a sweet 1.8 swapping parts over etc to rule things out, it's really bugging me why the car is running the way it is
