Hi just fitted a liquid gauge was avin a play how gd is the bhp reading on it to wht u get on rolling road I only geting 267hp on mine on stage two but on rollers I get 290+ on and so was exspectin abit lower but not tht much

Matt

Dyno lottery?

Ive read that the liquid gauge is very accurate..

If its any good news to you..mines the same..Revo stage 2

Yea I know amd dyno does read high but was exspectin 275+ bhp car feels quick and feels like it has more then 267bhp

Matt

the liquid gauge works by reading the grams per second of air running through your maf and then calculates a bhp reading off that i believe. So its sort of accurate but its not going to give you perfect readings

Oright well g/s was 216 so tht is about 270 bhp so tht would b y it gives tht power output then

Matt

Remember that temperature affects power output too mate. On a hotter day you will lose power compared to a cold one with denser air/ better intercooling.

The g/s calculation is only really any good on a non-remapped car. Remaps often use other things like advanced ignition timing to gain more power, the g/s calculation can't take that into account.

I have this. Problem as well I believe its because your maf readings max out you need a different maf to register higher readings than 270 bhp. I have been on 3 different dynos and all read very similar 315 313 318.
Pluged gauge in straight after and like It says only acheived 270 bhp

Dyno lottery makes me lol, I had a remap by niki @ 253bhp then dyno'd locally at 262 bhp, et my g/s works out at around 255, take you pick

All seem fairly similar to me. All three within 3.5% of each other. Would vary on the same rollers on different days
