Lock wont Lock

Just a quick discussion, i have a 2003 cupra and am having an issue with locking my boot. My fob works ok on all the doors 'locks/unlocks' but for some reason my boot stays unlocked. Now with the car locked when you open the boot the alarm does go off but i would like it to lock.. Any help would be nice..........

sounds like the same problem i had on mine. This guides for an ibiza but the locks the same. took me about half an hour to sort
