ok, i bought my car wedesday, so today i thought id repaint my brake calipers. so just put the locking wheel nut socket on the nut properley, stared to take it off then it clunked. nwo the actual locking nut has snapped and the socket is all bent up inside and will not go onto any of the others. ??

its only the special cut end where the socket fits into, the nut is all still intact. i mean if i can get another locking nut socket i could probably get it out.

in that case, just pop to your nearest decent tyre place, part with about £25, and get them to remove all of them

we had it on our Mitsubishi, the retarded dealer had overtightened them.

yeah good luck with that.
When i bought my car, i threw the socket away because i didnt know what it was.
No SEAT dealer had another one.
Had to take the car with a car engineer who welded a nut onto the locking nuts.
