I definitely echo most of this review. Had mine coming up for 4 months now and love it. And whilst the failure to backlight the heating / volume strip under the screen is baffling, in my everyday life, I use the steering wheel for volume and very rarely change the temp whilst on the move. So it’s an oversight but it doesn’t massively impact me personally. ??‍♂️

I regret buying it. Got it in mid august and till now, 2 months, it's been twice in the shop for around 14 days total. I still got problems with it and most of them are related to the infotainment system which "cupra is aware of" but they are not in a rush to fix it.
other people are lucky and had no problems with it.

Are you aware of the software update that is soon to be released? Apparently Version 1810 is coming soon and fixes many of the infotainment issues people have been having. The source was from "MQB-Coding and Retrofit" on Facebook. Not currently available but might not be OTA and need to pop to a workshop.

I'm on 1804 at the moment. Hopefully 1810 will actually fix infotainment issues. However, my biggest concern is the steering wheel vibration, which the service people say it's normal but I know it is not.

Definitely not normal mate. My VZ2 is absolutely planted. Solid as a rock even following S3’s and Porsche Macan’s at 120mph. (Private roads, in Mexico, of course).

Almost 6 months of ownership. Except for the failed start, when I took it back the very next day after delivery and waited 2 weeks for screen replacement, after that no issues at all. Some minor software glitches now and then, nothing serious.
It is a head turner. Yesterday the 2 cops in a police car were looking with veeery big eyes after me :)
Almost every time I go to a car wash I get asked about the car.
Performance brilliant, fuel consumption great.
