looking a cupra today calims to be 230bhp + advice please

As above im going to go look at a 04 seat leon cupra today The owner claims its running 230+ and has a bigger turbo but has no paper work or rr to back it up

Just wanted to know whats the obvious to look out for if it is runing 230 or even a bigger turbo ?

Uprated pipes, 007p uprated intercooler maybe ?

Maybe he's fitted a power resistor of justice! LOL

The power doesn't seem that far fetched, but ask him what he's had done and report back. Bigger turbo will almost certainly be a K04 ...or a hybrid, but if he's no evidence of having it mapped properly (K04) or can tell you what it is (hybrid) I'd steer clear tbh ...it'll only cause you headaches when it starts to go wrong.
