looking at getting a fast cupra

Well my mate has an M3 Evo the 321bhp E36 and it kills a mapped Ibiza, not saying it cant keep with it but I would like to see it happen.

Problem is so many people badged there 3 series coupes up it gives M3s a bad name lol

Well I know what i've seen and done, guess it depends on the car. My K03 Ibiza is faster than certain K03S ones about.

Not denying you may have kept up but im not here to argue, I just feel an M3 is a completely different leagued mapped or not to an Ibiza, stage 2 onwards may be interesting tho

To be honest an M3 is in a different league all together if your looking at refinements, handling etc... However an Ibiza with a few £k thrown at it will give one a good run for its money.

However you can always go and spend money on the M3 too!

I can honestly say i've been beaten by an M3 Evo when my car was just revo'd very close but quite high speeds so i'm guessing thats why he had the edge!

Ibiza is def underestimated when remapped but an Evo will still cream it.

You may if you launch the car well be close to 60 but the 100 times are 3.5 secs apart and the Evo has shed loads more torque and can be held in gear longer, not to mention 1400cc more, the only advantage the Ibiza has at low speeds is weight and once on the move this advantage is lost.

I can afford the remap but not the insurance hike lol!

I think its all about the launch and as I said the 60 would be close but above that the extra horses kick in lol!

But I wouldnt have an Ibiza if I didnt love it lol!

And u dont get many chavs badgind up a 1.4 as a Cupra as you do 318 drivers with M3 badges lol

The Ibiza is poor at low speeds, its once your rolling it has the edge.
