Looking for Double Din Head unit :)

I have just purchased an Erisin 878 model (like the MFD's) off ebay and my brother has it in his golf mk5 and it seems to do the job and is pretty good.
They range from £200-£270.
But if your looking for the Pioneer, Kenwood ones then you would be paying alot more..

Hi Masterkm, that looks a decent unit, packed with features! Sweet price too! Does it have detachable front?
Wonder how easy it would be to link it up the cars factory Bluetooth / steering wheel controls.
Plus did you need to buy a special wiring loom/adaptor, to link it up to the SEAT CANBUS Stereo harness?

Iv got the price to be even better if it would convince you guys lol btw i dont work for them or anything.. I got them down to £228 believe it or not? Also this model does not have a detachable front. Its just like the MFD2/3 style
It Im wondering about the steering controls too but wont know untill I have got it in a couple of days but heard they supply a canbus adaptor for an extra £29.
The loom is provided with it as it is similar to the VW Golf one which my brother has and he said it was a plug and go thing but I will have this confirmed by the weekend..
It should fit straight into a MK2 leon as that is what im fitting it into. (56reg MK2)
N btw 'StealthInspired' Could you show me some pics of your vinyl job as my car is black and im thinking of doin carbon wrap to the roof and mirrors

i fitted Alpine double din head unit early this year & it was the BIGGEST NIGHTMARE EVER!!! trying to find a surround that was the correct hand drive was a nightmare, trying to get the steering controls working for volume and track skip was a nightmare, still not managed to get my bluetooth phone working through the speakers!!!

Who did you contact as I have not been told that as of yet? I was told it would by the people I bought it from but just had it delivered today so might give it a go later on as got no time off work to fit it atm. Its pretty much the same as the Golf MK5 connector so would not see why it would not work.
What did they say as to why it would not work? Coz you can fit and MFD2/3 into a Leon MK2 so dont see why not :S
It was an ebay seller I sent a message to. Maybe there is quite a bit of difference in the fl and pre fl wiring? My Cupra is a facelift.
Definitely seems really well priced. Id want it to work with the steering controls and with the MFD, not to sure if it will. Keep us posted as to how the fitting goes etc

I've got an Alpine W505R in mine and its all hooked up to my bluetooth and steering controls.
I did a thread a while back with a few pics and the kit needed to hook it up to the Seat bluetooth.

Surprisingly it was all still in there too with my sat nav after I got my car back from having it stolen!
Do you know the name of the seller? Mine is a 56reg Mk2 Leon Stylance. I want it to work with my steering too but at most will cost me an extra £29 if anything. I very much doubt it will work with the MFD coz of it being from china lool...
Hopefully will get you guys some feedback tomorrow on how i get on with it but now you got me feelin a bit iffy with it now sayin it might not work
