ive noticed my car has some daft old squashed up pipe running from behind passenger headlight to the airbox, and dont want it there, im looking for the part number of this please

on mine, it isnt on there, its a bit of hose rammed behind the headlight and battery, i want the proper genuine black plastic cold air feed but on the 2nd image i posted theres a choice of two ...

HAve a search for golf R32 intake. The original one is tiny, and the R32 one is a lot bigger.

In fact, the main pipe in your first pic is an R32 one, the smaller one almost out of shot is the standard one.

I got a cupra, not a cupra r, will that air duct fit straight onto mine then??

Should be a straight fit, the piece that goes behind the passenger headlight fouls on the Cupra R SMIC but the cupra only has the one SMIC below the drivers side headlight.

right, I rang TPS who said that aprox it will cost £40 for the lot plus VAT!

Gotta get 2 coils too first though got an intermittent miss-fire on cyls 2+3, and off to vegas in 2 weeks, so when i gets back 2 coils are top of my list, then a cambelt and water pump change in mid summer, then a front splitter, then a skoda fabia estate rear wiper mod, then the front aero wiper mod, and a new headunit as my stereo FM signal goes in and out sometimes...

are them 2 bits which sit behind the headlight needed?? or is it part of the air scoop thing? ive looked on etka and there doesnt seem to be any parts which connect the other end of air induct pipe... the r32 dsg pipe does that fit directly onto my stock airbox?

There is a big hole in between the battery and headlight it's where my CAI disappears to get a cold feed.
