Hello, i have a couple of questions....
I enjoyed the 2.0T engine soo much (Especially when Revo'd:rolleyes:) in my late audi A3 that i have seeked it ot once more.
My audi was stolen, i was burgled and the keys were taken and car was gone. Done me a favour tbh as it released me from my finance agreement, the Mrs is expecting and i can save some pennies.

Do you think the Cupra will be practical as a family car, new born on the way...the missus only criteria was 4 doors, i think it should fit the usual buggy/ car seat etc?!

Do you think the Cupra is maybe a slight target to car theives still or do they stick generally to Bm's, Mercs, Audi's etc?

Any advice/ experiences welcomed :help:

Can You Try And Borrow A Buggy Etc ?

Before I Bought My Leon, I Made Sure Suitcases And Golf Glubs Would Fit In Boot. I Had Some Strange Looks In Car Showroom !!!!!!!!

I Wanted A Ibiza, Boot Was Too Small. Shame.

the boot is a very good size, and what you would expect from a medium sized car. only thing to watch out for is the opening is slightly narrow cos of the shape of the back. best thing to do is to borrow a buggy and just try it. think showrooms are used to that kinda thing by now.

just tell the missus that its a 5 door hatchback, has isofix and also privacy glass at the back so the little'un wont have the sun hurting their poor little eyes..
;)

I have the FR with 2 child seat in the back and a buggy always in the boot. Enough room without a doubt, just don't buy one of those massive pushchairs or you may struggle if it doesn't fold small enough.

We had an altea for a couple of days and the boot on the FR is better for pushchairs than the Altea. (IMO)

This was my rational and thus far has ticked all the boxes. The wife likes it too and as it has the ISOFIX and the privacy glass, it made her happy.

Although I do suspect the 2.0T helped her overcome the whole "You are not buying a fast car again!" objection once she has driven it a few times and is now able to outrun the more expensive metal on the roads.

 Funny!!!

Having had the revo'd 2.0T Audi the wife said 'Not another fast car' but i'm hoping that she'll approve if i can get her behind the wheel as i did with the Audi, i think it'll make her grin like last time!:D

The seats are more comfortable and supportive in the SEAT so hopefully she won't get chucked about as much and get whiplash from the boost. I hope she can get round the badge snobbery and enjoy the car for what it is.;)

Buy the cupra, you wont look back ;)

Boot is a brilliant size, people always comment on how much room their is in the back. I love the car, what more do I need to say!!

Get it! :D

Mate, get the Cupra, and get a Quinny Zapp for the liitleun, they only measure something like 2'x1'x1', plently of room for the rest of the gubbins lol.

I'm sure you would both like the Cupra, But I also hope it wouldn't atrract the ***** and put you in the same position as your Audi did.

Think i'm gonna take the plunge, gonna take the wife and new buggy (Glad i bought a slimline buggy, i'm sure it'll fit fine) out for a test drive tomorrow and let her drive it to help convince and keep her happy.

To save the wait and expense i have managed to find a Cupra that i think was an ex showroom, no added extras (I can do hat maybe) but it seems to be much less than the £20,500 Seat offer themselves. On a MY07 1500-2000 miles, £16,750!! Does this sound about right, or to good to be true cosidering that would only buy me an Fr in the showroom?! How are the residuals with Seat's generally? i would have expected a large drop straight off but not this much.

Do consider finding one with the bluetooth option fitted at the minimum. Having it fitted means a larger multi function display. That is the only drawback i hear when you say a dealer demo model with no extras.
