I'm looking into selling my Leon soon. It's a 2002 SE TDi with 182,000 miles on it. I'm the second owner and have owned it since 32K, I bought in May 2006.

It's got a full service history, partly Seat main dealer but mostly a VAG specialist. (The brilliant JKM for those who know them!)

It's just had the cambelt done again, and will have new front brake pads/discs soon.

It's a 12 year old car so isn't perfect, I had a bit of a fight with a car park bollard (yes, I know, woman driver!) so it has a bit of a scrape on the drivers side rear wing. It also has a few rust bubbles starting on the bonnet and behind the rubbing strips on a couple of doors.

The interior, however, is pretty much spotless, I've had a lot of comments from people who've been in it that it's so clean inside!

Last MOT I had advisories on the CAT starting to disintegrate and the exhaust blowing, neither of which I have fixed yet. It could be the next MOT they have not got worse, but on the other hand it could be that these are failures. The air con also does not work.

It had a Revo remap at 150,000 so should be sitting at 135bhp ish rather than the standard 110bhp, but it's never been on the rollers to find out.

It's bright yellow and has faded quite badly. It's always been polished and treated with paint sealant when washed, I've mostly done it with my own fair hands but do admit to going through a dreaded car wash a handful of times, sorry!

Anyone have any idea what it would be worth?

I think 4-5's a bit low, I've got my LC 180 on eBay with a few problems and that's at 510 already although it's not rusted etc

It depends on condition of engine / service history and if you have proof etc to back it up

The mileage will likely put some people off but being diesel they're always high mileage compared

I'd be optimistic and say between 6 and 8 if you've got proof to back up history etc

The fact it needs a replacement cat and exhaust probably means it's worthless until they're replaced. So you probably need to spend £500 on getting them sorted before trying to sell it for £800.

Or you could scrap it for £180
