Hello fellow SCN'rs. It's time for another update - getting ready in the run up to edition with some new goodies :)

The sun was shining this morning so I decided it was time to fit the black carpet that has been in the loft for months. I also swapped the seats over so I get the one with more padding..! Really pleased, looks so much better than the old grey one. Just need to change the headlining, retrim the door cards and get the remaining grey bits changed over :D

Here are the tallys from today:
  • Minor injuries - 8
  • Minor injuries (including bumps to the head) - 27
  • Swear words used - 186
  • Carpets fitted - 1
  • Leftover bits at the end - 1
And here are photos:

Everything out and on the pavement (my neighbours love me...):

It was really sunny so the camera couldn't get the carpet very well, so I'll try and get some more later...

He's not really my daily driver any more - I walk to work so he only goes out for fun on the weekends!
But I actually feel so much more secure with the harnesses and buckets! I used to slide around on corners before, hard to steer when you're hanging on to the steering wheel to stop yourself hitting the door/gearstick. Now I am nicely held in place

No major changes recently really, but I am doing exciting grown-up stuff at the moment which means he should soon have a new home where I can work on him :D The fact that I won't have any money to do anything is a moot point.....

But as I was going through my edition photos today I thought I would chuck a couple up so you can see the current mod level :)

that is the cutest car! Love what you have done with it. I used to think they were just small little cars, but i think after seeing yours i've got a little spot for it.

Shines up really nice though!

Thanks Charlotte :D I love my little car too!

Mark - those are my summer show wheels. I'm very protective of them (plus I'm not dedicated enough to clean them constantly to maintain the polished rim) so they only come out in good weather. I might use them a bit more next year though, now he's not stored on the road any more - they do look so good! :) I still like my white wheels for every day use though.

I thought that I would put up a post simply to say:

to my Arosa!

I've done absolutely nothing to him this year except nurse him through an MOT and go for a few nice drives - lets hope this year will continue in the same vein, and I'm not going to experience any terrible teens

Looks awesome for 13 years old! Like the white wheels waayy more than the black, thats just MO tho! :)

Isn't this rise in womens can insurance is completely unfair; you've only had a few incidents... :D

I think he does look pretty good for an old man too! The white wheels are for everyday, but I do like the 'stance' on the black ones, looks lower and meaner....

And only 1 of those incidents could be labelled in any way my fault :p I've either been crashed into (it's bright red, how can they miss it!?) or run into animals. In fact I've been better than many when it comes to hitting small furries - just jam on the anchors, hold the wheel straight and plow on, none of this swerving and crashing nonsense!

I find if you try your best to hit 'em they always get away! :help:
