Hi all.
Having a few weird issues with my 2016 fr 1.4 ecotsi.
Basically last week when it was parked in the sun and heat the cars had a few issues.
Started the car and loads of lights on the dash, power steering, traction, no stop start, no parking sensors and no headlamp adjustment.
I checked the battery which was 10 years old and it was down to 12.1v so I went and got a new one.
Its an EFB battery with 65amps etc and ive programmed it to the car on a obd machine so it's all coded in.
Turned all the warning lights off but the headlight one wouldn't go out
Now upon starting the car all the lights are back on again, which sometimes do go out as I drive, sometimes they dont.
What should I look at next??? Is is best to check and clean fuses and look in the engine bay for any wiring damage?

I had a similar issue on my wife's Leon last week. The rear offside brake guard has rusted to bits and the debris was contaminating the ABS sensor and ring. Once cleaned off the fault lights all disappeared except one which had to be cleared with OBD II.

The reason there were so many systems flagged up was that they all relied on the signals from the ABS sensors to work. I'd recommend getting an OBDII dongle. I bought it years ago, it cost around £60 at the time and it's paid for itself over and over.

Ok, thanks for the reply.
Did you have loads of warning lights on startup which would sometimes clear when driving and sometimes not?

Yes it guess it could be, just as if a battery is showing 12.5v but has hardly any cranking amps.
I'm convinced it could be wheel speed sensor related as I had 4 tyres a month ago and one of the front wheel brake backplates was rubbing the disc as it had started to corroded, hopefully just some metal debris sat on the magnetic sensor
