loss of boost

i have just had my turbo sent off for a recon as my cupra has been getting slower and not boosting as much they have told me there is nothing wrong with it there is no faults coming up on the scanner what could it be

I presume you checked for split hoses etc before sending the turbo away ?

No engine management light either? Have you got a boost gauge? Any noticable drop in boost if you have?
Sounds like limp mode to me - 5Psi

yes checked hoses and only running 5psi no engine management light on either

Have you put the turbo back on yet?

changed maf before turbo came off putting turbo back on next week

my old golf gti 20v turbo had same sort of thing had it revoed by bill at badger 5 would not hit more than 1 bar just felt really sluggish for a turbo

your new turbo should fix your problem
