As some of you know ive been fitting my kinetic manni for the last couple of days, i eventully got it all fitted today and finished off.

I took it for a drive down the road and it boosted fine and felt good. As i got to the top of a hill i put my footdown again and i have no boost what so ever its not even reaching 0psi on the gauge.

Ive hooked it upto vag-com and no faults have been recorded at all.

On tick over if i rev it i have no dump valve sound what so ever either

I`ve checked all my boost pipes and connection to my tip and all seems fine on that front to me, so i have absolutly no idea whats wrong?

Any help would be great.

I just took the charge pipe off and the strut brace and that was it. everything seems connected up the right way to me.

I`ve just taken my DV off and down the leak back test. the piston just seems to return to the bottom once i have pushed it up whilst covering the nipple with my other finger. Is the right?

Would this cause limp mode?

forge 007p.

if this could possibly be the cause of my problem would it be worth getting a std one from the dealers in the mean time? i was hoping to go to pod on sunday and if the std one cured it id try and get another forge one while im up there.

Forge do a free repair kit for their DV's if you mail them or go to their site.

Take the DV apart and make sure that the seals are all OK. Be careful when screwing it back together that the top seal is sat down in the ridge otherwise it can rise up as you tighten it and it breaks.

DO you have an OE DV to put on and test in the mean time?

Im going to e-mail forge now to get the repair kit. ive just been back out to the car and checked all the hoses on top of the engine and they look fine. i breifly got under the car earlier and they looked ok too. but i will double check them tommrow.

So if my DV is likling could this possibly cause limp mode? as i said before when i rev it on idle there is no DV noise what so ever.
