Lost my main key

Alright guys after some advice
Lost my main key fob for my cupra at work somewhere and can't find it. When I was looking for a new one I was under the impression that I would need to get hold of a key fob with immobiliser chip then get it coded to the car for the clocks ecu etc. But some people are saying that you can programme it your self by putting it in the ignition and shutting the door etc and doing it that way.

Dale from here has offered me a key from a car he's breaking but I want to know if Im better of getting a new one from ebay and getting it coded or buying Dale's then buying a new key blade.

will easy work mate, just follow the steps for coding the Key, just not long done mine an works fine now

hi could you tell me the way you code a new key fob to car as my keyfob worked but gave up think its the main circuit board.also would i be able to get a key fob from another cupra
