Loving the new beast

Hi everyone,

Took my little 2000 polo gti up to milton keynes today to consider a swap on an ibiza cupra, the deal went through and Wow its quick!. A serious step up!

The ibiza looks in awesome nick, only a few things need sorting, its at 61k and hasnt had its cambelt changed, and the sidelights arent working, but other than that its mint!!!

Current output is 253bhp at the fly recorded on a dyno run, and a 13.8 on the 1/4 mile

Yeah I think the owner before had her for 7 months, but it won't be going anywhere for a while now!

mk4polo aka copra's car originally iirc, one of the first cars to run A+M stuff.

does anyone know anything about this car? whether its been looked after etc..? what the previous owners were like? I just came across a thread mentioning something about a blue cupra that hasnt been looked after & was ragged from cold, had no oil etc..., any help would be appreciated! She seems alright at the moment! and the guy I bought it off seemed like a nice bloke who looked after it, but he only had it for around 8 months

Original owner took a lot of care of it iirc. Search for threads on it by copra, it was his car as i've mentioned.

Just got your pm mate, and that was the car I was going to buy but a lot of people on here told me to avoid it. Fingers crossed he sorted it out!

So he swapped it for a Polo? Sort of contradicts the story he told me.
