I replaced a lot of rear suspension recently, but re-used my lower control arms.
I thought I put them back correctly, but now I'm second-guessing myself.

Are they sided and directional?
I'm wondering if I've got my left on my right, or I've got them on the correct side but one or more upside down.

This is the arm I'm talking about, but how do you identify right from left and which is inner and which is the outer end??

Parts database is kinda helpful, but I still don't know which end is which or how to identify right from left.

Early cars (up to mid-2009) used sided ones. Later cars use a universal one on both sides. I've not seen the older vs. newer ones side by side though so I can't say what the differences are.

You can't fit them upside down as the bolts are different sizes. Top bolts are M12, bottom ones are M14.

FML I've got a mid-2009 car, it's a Facelift FR. Actually took some pictures before it came apart so will consult them and check.

Are the sided and non-sided arms interchangeable? Can I swap to non-sided arms if I buy a pair?
